(i)
PS has been
done on the basis
of information filled
up by the
candidates in the application submitted online.
(ii) Experience certificates are to be in prescribed proforma. However, wherever the applicants have not submitted experience certificates in prescribed proforma, their experience certificates have been considered on merit.
(iii) The period of experience rendered by a candidate on part time basis, daily wages, visiting/guest faculty has not been counted while calculating the valid experience.
(iv) Experience on
contract basis
in the relevant field has been considered.
(v)
Experience as Teaching Assistant/Associate Lecturer/Lecturer/ Assistant Professor/ Reader/ Research Scientist/ Research Associate/Senior Research Officer/ JRF/SRF/ Post Doctoral Fellow has been
considered towards EQ- (B).
(vi) Where experience of teaching has been claimed
as Lecturer/ Assistant Professor/Reader etc. and not as Research Scholar for Ph.D., the same has been taken into account towards EQ-B.
(vii) Similarly, Note IV below EQ (B) relating to “the period of time taken by candidates to acquire
M. Phil and/or
Ph.D degree shall not be considered as teaching/ research experience to be claimed for appointment to the teaching positions” has been restricted to research experience claimed for M.Phil./Ph.D. and experience of teaching as Lecturer/ Assistant Professor/ Reader has been taken into account towards EQ-B.
(viii) EQ-B also requires “evidence of published work and a minimum of five publications as books and/or research/policy papers”. Such evidence may be taken as distinct from teaching or research
experience and a copy of five such publications may be taken as sufficient towards this requirement.

(ix) Where experience
certificate is issued by the concerned organization, the
issuing authority being Head of the Department has not been insisted upon.
(x)
Proof of any one of the conditions stipulated in EQ-A(iii) may be considered sufficient towards requirement of EQ- A(iii) as per Explanation-II.
(xi) For variation in spelling of names/change in name, Affidavit may be considered sufficient.
(xii) In view of the undertaking signed by the candidates in the application, the undertaking regarding intimation to employer wherever applicable, may not be insisted upon specifically.
(xiii) Some of the candidates can be rejected under more than one category. They have been rejected under the category considered as most appropriate.
(xiv) The present PS has been processed in accordance with the instructions contained in the instructions/guidelines for candidates published in Advertisement No. 21/2014 published in the Employment News dated
27.12.2014 to 02.01.2015.
